For several years I have worked on the marketing team for an outdoor retail brand. My work has both defined and contributed to the brand identity, marketing strategy, and audience segmentation. My primary responsibilities involve planning, producing, and launching marketing campaigns for email, social, and paid media across all platforms and channels.

Whole Earth Provision Co. is an outdoor retailer with locations across the state of Texas, selling quality clothing, equipment, and gear to professionals, enthusiasts, and the casual adventurer, since 1970.

Social Media

My work on social media marketing campaigns starts by defining our ideal customer audience. This is done by reviewing our sales KPI's, campaign performance, and website analytics. The team and I then strategize our marketing goals. I create or produce assets, product photography, discount codes, UTM parameters, and more.

Once we launch a campaign, I track the performance metrics to fine-tune message delivery, audience segmentation, and budgets to drive higher conversions to reach and exceed our marketing goals. Through annual, quarterly, and month-over-month performance reports we are able to determine success patterns, growth, and engagement opportunities.

My work so far has contributed to influencing several million dollars in revenue, and increasing the company's Instagram audience by over 134% and their Facebook audience by over 279%.

Email Marketing

I redesigned the email marketing templates to be more on-brand with brighter colors, bolder graphics, and richer imagery. These email templates allow for a seamless user experience from email to web through matching components, colors, and styles.

Through clearer audience segmentation, improved design, and featured products, the email marketing campaigns I implemented have increased email open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, web traffic, and influenced sales by over 20% across the board.

I focused the email marketing audience by segmenting based on purchase behaviors and interests. Once the larger audience segments were determined I continued to run multivariate tests on email design, copy, products, and imagery to determine which segment is the most effective at reaching our current marketing and sales objectives.
