As a local Austinite, I have seen Austin grow and change. Austin's culture and lifestyle have influenced many of my pieces. I am also heavily influenced by my Turkish heritage and Turkish folklore and patterns. When I'm not creating art, I love to bake, go for bike rides and get drinks with friends.
My artwork is optimistic, vibrant, and bold. My watercolors are simple, charming, and narrative in nature. I paint large abstract oil paintings that are colorful and upbeat. I am intrigued by the exploration in knowing who you are and the journey it took to find out.
This series depicts not only each individual, but taken as a whole, reflects the support, generosity, and safety I have found within the queer community. In this work, I channel this vibrancy, light, shadow, power, and vulnerability, that sometimes fades into the background and other times unapologetically takes up space and demands our attention.
I enjoy the full development cycle of a marketing campaign, but I specialize in audience segmentation, identifying target KPI's, and producing or directing creative.
I designed, launched, and monitored campaigns for all paid ads, email marketing, and social platforms. My work involved developing strategies, producing content, and analyzing KPI's for ideal customer profiles and user interests.
